Battle of the Bands - ACS Jordan
Recently on Wednesday, the 23rd of January, the American Community School of Jordan hosted a battle between five bands formed of students from the school itself. The competitor bands were Axiom, Azmeh, Kino Kasino, No Sense and Scent Of Insanity. The reward was a studio recording of an original track and a music video, both provided by HB Music.
These bands which were founded by high school students mainly performed songs in Pop, Alternative, or Rock. They performed both cover and original songs. And although the lyrical language was limited to English, Arabic, Spanish, or French, their music spoke a language of international understanding.

Even though each band charmed the audience uniquely with their style and vibrancy, only two bands made it to first and second place, Scent Of Insanity ranked first and No Sense placed second. With high praise to Axiom, Azmeh, and Kino Kasino whom placed third, fourth and fifth in no particular order.
“It’s not really easy for anyone to come on stage and play in front of people.” Quoting Judge Hazem Bawab of HB Music. “It wasn’t easy for us to choose the winner either.”
